Ⅰ. The Literati and Nature | Gallery of Literati Calligraphy
Gallery of Literati Calligraphy is composed of immersive digital videos with the theme of literati’s space and tastes. Immersing themselves in the scent of ink with a cup of tea, viewers follow the path of literati, who went on traveling to scenic mountains in search of the principle of nature and the universe. In the Media Gallery, viewers can enjoy the Joseon literati’s calligraphy and paintings of the “Four Gracious Plants” against the backdrop of the three-dimensional video, projected on three walls, of the four seasons of Seowon, Confucian academy.
Ⅱ. Peach Blossom Land of Jeonju | 2nd floor lobby
“One Spring Day in Jeonju” is a digital media experience based on the eighteenth-century “Map of Jeonju” (Treasure), which was housed in the Royal Library. Various important sites around Jeonju are brought to vivid life, including the mighty Jeonjuseong Fortress; Gyeonggijeon Hall, where the portrait of King Taejo was enshrined; and the Jeolla Provincial Office, which oversaw both North and South Jeolla Provinces, as well as Jeju Island. Join the literati as they enjoy an idyllic spring day, strolling past Omokdae Pavilion outside Pungnammun Gate and watching the white cranes soaring over the zelkova forest of Gyeonggijeon Hall, representing the dignity of the hometown of the Joseon royal family.
Ⅲ. Painting of Ugeumam and Traveling to Byeonsan | 2nd floor lobby
This immersive digital media experience is based on the painting by Gang Sehwang (1713–1791), which is now housed at the LA County Museum of Art (USA). Here, Gang Sehwang’s classic depiction of the landscape around Byeonsan Mountain—including Ugeumam Rock and Jikso Falls to the sunset over Chaeseok River—is digitally combined with contemporary imagery, bringing the vision of an eighteenth-century master into the present.

Constellations seen by Seonbi The figure of a Seonbi who tried to understand the logic of the sky through astronomy is expressed as a constellation in “the Constellations seen by Seonbi”.

The spirit of Seonbi permeated into a cup of tea. The “Seonbi spirit that permeates a cup of tea” is composed of a space where you can appreciate the Seonbi spirit contained in the tea ceremony with colorful images, videos, and beautiful poems.

Seonbi and nature 'Seonbi & Nature' consists of a responsive space that creates a space of harmony between Seonbi and nature and uses techniques such as motion recognition to respond when you actually touch it with your hand.

Looking at the Seowon (lecture hall) In the space of 'Looking at Seowon', an elegant image of entering the main entrance of Byungsan Seowon, a representative Seowon (lecture hall), was implemented.

Seonbi goes on a tour. In the corner of ‘Seonbi goes on a tour’, a fictional Seonbi embodied his daily life, education and outings, and tours of famous mountains in the works of major painters including Kim Hong-do. Through the appearance of Seonbi taking part in the work and going on a tour, the viewers will be immersed in the image as well as an opportunity to understand the life of Seonbi.

Seowon cultivated the spirit of Seonbi In the corner of 'Seowon cultivated the Seonbi Spirit', the four seasons of the Seowon, which change with the passage of time, are realized in three-dimensional images, providing a space for feeling and contemplation through sight and hearing.
